One Who Can Endure
能忍 (Jpn nonin )

    An honorific title for Shakyamuni Buddha. Shakyamuni Buddha is so called because he appears in the saha world, or the world of endurance, in order to lead the people to Buddhahood and, in so doing, endures all the hardships he encounters there.
