Twelve teachers (Wyl. ston pa bcu gnyis) — the founding teachers of Dzogchen, also known as the 'twelve Dzogchen teachers'.
- Khyeu Nangwa Dampa (ston pa khye'u snang ba dam pa)
- Khyeu Ö Mitrukpa (ston pa khye'u 'od mi 'khrugs pa)
- Jikpa Kyob (ston pa 'jigs pa skyob)
