ON four types of persons: the bad man (personally breaks the five moral precepts against;
killing,
stealing,
sexual misconduct,
lying and
intoxication),
the most awful of the bad men (personally breaks the five moral precepts against killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying and intoxication and exhorts others to also transgress the moral precepts), the great man (personally follows the five moral precepts against killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying and intoxication), and the greatest of great men (personally follows the five moral precepts against killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying and intoxication and encourages no one to break the moral precepts).
