Nine Realms of Sentient Beings: Bodhisattva, Prateyka-Buddha, Arahat (Three enlightened realms: these beings have attained enlightenment but not the Ultimate Enlightenment of Buddhahood); Heaven, Titans, Human, Animal, Hungry Ghost, and Hell (are the six realms of unenlightened beings; they are still trapped in the cycle of life and death, reincarnations, etc.).
