Auspicious kalpa : Syn: Good Eon; Good Kalpa; Propitious Kalpa. “A kalpa is the period of time between the creation and recreation of a world or universe. In the Mahayana tradition, the present kalpa is called ‘Worthy’ because during its span, 1,000 Buddhas will appear to save sentient beings
