Changing the three types of clothing are actions which are part of the conduct of the yanas of kriya tantra and charya tantra.

  • Changing one’s outer clothing means to put on clean clothes,
  • changing one’s inner clothing means to guard one’s vows, and
  • changing one’s secret clothing means to visualize the deity.
