Duka-paṭṭhāna (Pāli, groups of two origin). Second part of the Paṭṭhāna, the final book of the Abhidharma Piṭaka of the Pāli Canon. It is a highly technical text, consisting of a minutely detailed analysis of the doctrine of conditionality. Its commentary was composed by Buddhaghoṣa in the 5th century.
