Jeta; 祇陀太子' (Pali; Jpn Gida-taishi)

Jetri in Sanskrit.

A prince who offered Shakyamuni a grove and land he owned as a site for the monastery, which came to be called Jetavana Monastery.

Vana of Jetavana means a grove.
