Bhikṣuṇī Jampa Tsedroen (Dr. Carola Roloff) is a Buddhist nun and post-doc full-time research fellow at the Academy of World Religions at the University of Hamburg (ReDi-Project on Dialogue and Religion in Modern Society).

From 1981 to 1996, she studied Buddhist philosophy and practice from at the Tibetan Centre, and has since studied Tibetology and Classical Indology with a focus on Buddhist Studies at the University of Hamburg (MA 2003, PhD 2009).

Beginning in 2010 Ven. Jampa has run a project on the ordination of Buddhist nuns supported by the DFG (German Research foundation).

In the summer of 2012 she was a visting professor at the Academy of World Religions.
