A very important grammatical work by Aggavamsa of Pagan. A few years after its completion in 1154, Uttarajiva visited the Mahavihara in Ceylon, and took with him, as a gift, a copy of the Saddaniti, which was received with enthusiastic admiration. Gv.63, 72; Svd.1238; Bode, 16, 17.
