Samantabhadra King of Aspiration Prayer
You can recite this at holy places during pilgrimages, when in front of sacred stupas, relics, blessed places. It contains the quintessence of all the aspirations of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Also, you can recite this every night as a general dedication to conclude
your practice that day. It can also be recited many times to conclude any vast activity that accumulates great merit as this prayer encompasses the dedications and aspirations of Manjushri and Samanatabhadra who represents all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. This is also a very good practice
to constantly recite to accumulate vast merits and purify, and to obtain rebirth in Amitabha’s pureland. Basically, this prayer is performed in Monlam (annual vast prayer festival for creating merit and praying for world peace in holy places like
Bodhgaya) en masse by many ordained monks and nuns to pray for world peace and enlightenment and all the qualities on the path. It is truly one of the most beneficial prayer and it is the vajra speech of the Buddha so the blessings is extremely far-reaching and
inconceivable. (The merit of reciting a prayer is determined by the depth of realisation of its author, so of course it is very wonderful to recite a prayer by the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni himself)
This is also a very good prayer to recite for the deceased or in the event of a natural disaster (eg, the recent Japan earthquakes) for the benefit of those who are suffering and those who have passed away. Basically, this prayer has many purposes and it can be used in many ways.
(I have also read somewhere that Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche has said that for someone who received offerings from others eg, as an ordained monastic, reciting this prayer everyday was important to reduce/repay the karmic debts. Reciting this prayer will also be good to dedicate the merits of oneself and the benefactor properly)

p/s: Note that there are some differences in several lines or arrangement from different translations of this prayer used by different schools. The one I put here is the general version used by the Nyingma school. No matter which version you use, just recite with the complete devotion and
certainty, it is not of much use to split hairs over the definitive version as pure intention and firm faith is more important. The speech of the Buddhas is also beyond pinning down as this-or-that… this is my opinion. Happy Monlam!

PHAG PA JAM PAL ZHON NUR GYUR PA LA CHAG TSAL LO
I pay homage to the noble Manjushri.
JI NYED SU DAG CHOG CHU’I JIG TEN NA
To those, in the worlds of the ten directions, however many there are,
DU SUM SHEG PA MI YI SENG GE KUN
All the lions among humans who appear during the three times-
DAG GI MA LU DE DAG THAM CHAD LA
To all of them without exception
LU DANG NGAG YID DANG WAY CHAG GYI O
I pay homage with respectful body, speech, and mind.
ZANG PO CHOD PAY MON LAM TOB DAG GI
The force of my Aspiration Prayer for Excellent Conduct,
GYAL WA THAM CHAD YID KYI NGON SUM DU
Brings all the victorious ones directly to mind;
ZHING GI DUL NYED LU RAB TUD PA YI
Bowing down with bodies as numerous as atoms in the realms,
GYAL WA KUN LA RAB TU CHAG TSAL LO
I prostrate to all the victorious ones.
DUL CHIG TENG NA DUL NYED SANG GYE NAM
In a single atom there are buddhas as numerous as atoms,
SANG GYE SEY KYI WU NA ZHUG PA DAG
Each residing in the midst of their sons and daughters;
DE TAR CHO KYI YING NAM MA LU PA
Like that, I imagine that the whole dharmadhatu
THAM CHAD GYAL WA DAG GI GANG WAR MO
Is completely filled with victorious ones.
DE DAG NGAG PA MI ZAD GYA TSHO NAM
To those with oceans of inexhaustible praise-worthy qualities-
YANG KYI YAN LAG GYA TSO DRA KUN GYI
With sounds containing oceans of tones of melodic speech,
GYAL WA KUN GYI YON TEN RAB JOD CHING
I express the qualities of all the victorious ones,
DE WAR SHEG PA THAM CHAD DAG GI TOD
I praise all the sugatas.
ME TOG DAM PA THRENG WA DAM PA DANG
With the finest flowers, the finest garlands,
SIL NYAN NAM DANG JUK PA DUG CHOG DANG
Music, ointments, supreme parasols,
MAR ME CHOG DANG DUG PO DAM PA YI
Supreme lamps, and the finest incense
GYAL WA DE DAG LA NI CHOD PAR GYI
I make offerings to the victorious ones.
NA ZA DAM PA NAM DANG DRI CHOG DANG
With the finest cloths, supreme scents,
CHE MA PHUR MA RI RAB NYAM PA DANG
And fine powders equal to Mount Meru,
KOD PA KHYAD PAR PHAG PAY CHOG KUN GYI
All displayed in supreme and magnificent ways,
GYAL WA DE DAG LA NI CHOD PAR GYI
I make offerings to those victorious ones.
CHOD PA GANG NAM LA MED GYA CHE WA
With vast unsurpassable offerings
DE DAG GYAL WA THAM CHAD LA YANG MO
I venerate all the victorious ones.
ZANG PO CHOD LA DAD PAY TOB DAG GI
Through the power of faith in excellent conduct
GYAL WA KUN LA CHAG TSAL CHOD PAR GYI
I prostrate and offer to the victorious ones.
DOD CHAG ZHE DANG TI MUG WANG GI NI
Whatever negative actions I have performed
LU DANG NGAG DANG DE ZHIN YID KYI KYANG
With body, speech, and also mind
DIG PA DAG GI GYI PA CHI CHI PA
Overpowered by desire, aggression, and stupidity
DE DAG THAM CHAD DAG GI SO SOR SHAG
I confess each and every one of them.
CHOG CHU GYAL WA KUN DANG SANG GYE SEY
I rejoice everyone's merit-

The victorious ones of the ten directions, the bodhisattvas,

The pratyekabuddhas, those in training,

Those beyond training, and all beings.
GANG NAM CHOG CHU JIG TEN DRON MA NAM
I request the protectors,

The lamps of the worlds of the ten directions,

Who, passing through the stages of awakening, attained buddhahood beyond
attachment,
KHOR LO LA NA MED PA KOR WAR KUL
To turn the unsurpassable dharma wheel.
NYA NGAN DA TON GANG ZHED DE DAG LA
I supplicate with my palms joined together
DRO WA KUN LA PHEN ZHING DE WAY CHIR
Those who intend to demonstrate nirvana
KAL PA ZHING GI DUL NYED ZHUG PAR YANG
To remain for kalpas as numerous as atoms in the realms

For the welfare and happiness of all beings.
CHAG TSAL WA DANG CHOD CHING SHAG PA DANG
I dedicate whatever slight virtue is accumulated through
JE SU YI RANG KUL ZHING SOL WA YI
Prostrating, offering, confessing,
GE WA CHUNG ZAD DAG GI CHI SAG PA
Rejoicing, requesting, and supplicating
THAM CHAD DAG GI JANG CHUB CHIR NGO O
To enlightenment.

I make offerings to all the past buddhas

May the realms of the ten directions, however many,
DE DAG GYA CHER YONG SU DAG PAR GYUR
Be completely pure and vast;
JANG CHUB SHING WANG DRUNG SHEG GYAL WA DANG
May they be filled with buddhas and bodhisattvas
SANG GYE SEY KYI RAB TU GANG WAR SHOG
Who have gone to sit before the powerful bodhi tree.
CHOK CHU'I SEM CHEN GANG NAM JI NYED PA
May all beings throughout the ten directions, however many they may be,
DE DAG TAG TU NAD MED DE WAR GYUR
Always have happiness, free from illness;
DRO WA KUN GYI CHO KYI DON NAM NI
May all beings be in harmony with the aims of the dharma
THUN PAR GYUR CHING RE WANG DRUB PAR SHOG
And achieve what they hope for.
JANG CHUB CHOD PA DAG NI DAG CHOD CHING
May I perform the conduct of awakening
DRO WA KUN TU KYE WA DREN PAR GYUR
And remember my lives during all states.
TSHE RAB KUN TU CHI PO KYE WA NA
In all my successive lives, from birth to death,
TAG TU DAG NI RAB TU JUNG WAR SHOG
May I always be a renunciate.
GYAL WA KUN GYI JE SU LOB GYUR TE
Following the victorious ones, may I train,
ZANG PO CHOD PA YONG SU DZOG JED CHING
Bringing excellent conduct to perfection,
TSHUL THRIM CHOD PA DRI MED YONG DAG PA
And engage in pure, stainless moral conduct,
TAG TU MA NYAM KYON MED CHOD PAR SHOG
Which never lapses and is free from faults.
LHA YI KAD DANG LU DANG NOD JIN KAD
In the languages of gods, the languages of nagas and yakshas,
DRUL WUM DAG DANG MI YI KAD NAM DANG
In the languages of kumbhandas and humans-
DRO WA KUN GYI DRA NAM JI TSAM PAR
In however many languages of beings there may be,
THAM CHAD KAD DU DAG GI CHO TEN TO
May I teach the dharma.
DE SHING PAR ROL CHIN LA RAB TSON TE
With gentleness may I exert myself in the paramitas.
JANG CHUB SEM NI NAM YANG JED MA GYUR
May I never forget bodhicitta.
DIG PA GANG NAM DRIB PAR GYUR PA DAG
May all wrongdoing and whatever obscures
DE DAG MA LU YONG SU JANG WAR SHOG
Be thoroughly purified.
LEY DANG NYON MONG DUD KYI LEY NAM LEY
May I be liberated from karma, kleshas, and the work of maras,
DROL ZHING JIG TEN DRO WA NAM SU YANG
And act for all beings in the world
JI TAR PAD MO CHU MI CHAG PA ZHIN
Like a lotus to which water does not cling,
NYI DA NAM KHAR THOG PA MED TAR CHAD
Like the sun and moon unhindered in space.
ZHING GI KHYON DANG CHOG NAM CHI TSAM PAR
Throughout the directions and reaches of the realms
NGAN SONG DUG NGAL RAB TU ZHI WAR JED
May the suffering of the lower states be pacified.
DE WA DAG LA DRO WA KUN GOD CHING
May all beings be placed in happiness;
DRO WA THAM CHAD LA NI PHEN PAR CHAD
May all beings be benefited.
JANG CHUB CHOD PA YONG SU DZOG JED CHING
May I bring awakened conduct to perfection,
SEM CHEN DAG GI CHOD DANG THUN PAR JUK
Engage in conduct that harmonizes with beings,
ZANG PO CHOD PA DAG NI RAB TON CHING
Teach excellent conduct,
MA ONG KAL PA KUN TU CHOD PAR GYUR
And perform these throughout all future kalpas.
DAG GI CHOD DANG TSHUNG PAR GANG CHOD PA
May I continuously be with those
DE DAG DANG NI TAG TU DROG PAR SHOG
Whose actions accord with my own.
LU DANG NGAG NAM DANG NI SEM KYI KYANG
May our conduct and aspirations
CHOD PA DAG DANG MON LAM CHIG TU CHAD
Of body, speech, and mind be the same.
DAG LA PHEN PAR DOD PAY DROG PO DAG
May I always meet with
ZANG PO CHOD PA RAB TU TON PA NAM
Friends who wish to benefit me,
DE DAG DANG YANG TAG TU THRAD PAR SHOG
Those who teach excellent conduct,
DE DAG DAG GI NAM YANG YID MI YUNG
And may I never displease them.
SANG GYE SEY KYI KOR WAY GON PO NAM
May I always directly see the victorious ones,
NGON SUM TAG TU DAG GI GYAL WA TA
The protectors, surrounded by bodhisattvas;
MA ONG KAL PA KUN TU MI KYO WAR
In future kalpas without tiring,
DE DAG LA YANG CHOD PA GYA CHER GYI
May I make vast offerings to them.
GYAL WA NAM KYI DAM PAY CHO DZIN CHING
May I retain the genuine dharma of the victorious ones,
JANG CHUB CHOD PA KUN TU NANG WAR JED
And cause the appearance of awakened conduct;
ZANG PO CHOD PA NAM PAR JONG WA YANG
Training in excellent conduct,
MA ONG KAL PA KUN TU CHE PAR GYI
May I act in this way throughout future kalpas.
SID PA THAM CHAD DU YANG KHOR WA NA
When circling in all my existences
SOD NAM YE SHE DAG NI MI ZAD NYE
May I develop inexhaustible merit and wisdom,
THAB DANG SHE RAB TING DZIN NAM THAR DANG
And become an inexhaustible treasury of
YON TEN KUN GYI MI ZAD DZOD DU GYUR
Methods, knowledge, samadhi, liberation, and virtues.
DUL CHIG TENG NA DUL NYED ZHING NAM TE
In a single atom there are realms as numerous as all atoms;
ZHING DER SAM GYI MI KHYAB SANG GYE NAM
In those realms reside infinite buddhas
SANG GYE SEY KYI WU NA ZHUG PA LA
In the midst of bodhisattvas-
JANG CHUB CHAD PA CHOD CHING TA WAR GYI
Beholding them, may I perform awakened conduct.
DE TAR MA LU THAM CHAD CHOG SU YANG
Like that, in all directions
TRA TSAM KHYON LA DU SUM TSHAD NYED KYI
On the breadth of just a hair
SANG GYE GYA TSHO ZHING NAM GYA TSHO DANG
There are oceans of buddhas, as many as in the three times, and oceans of realms-
KAL PA GYA TSHOR CHOD CHING RAB TU JUK
May I act and be engaged with them for oceans of kalpas.
SUNG CHIG YAN LAG GYA TSHO DRA KAD KYI
A single instance of a buddha's speech is a voice endowed with oceans of qualities,
GYAL WA KUN YANG YAN LAG NAM DAG PA
It has the pure qualities of the melodic speech of the victorious ones,
DRO WA KUN GYI SAM PA JI ZHIN YANG
And is the melodic speech that accords with the inclinations of all beings-
SANG GYE SUNG LA TAG TU JUK PAR GYI
May I always be engaged with the buddhas' speech.
DU SUM SHEG PAY GYAL WA THAM CHAD DAG
May I be engaged through the power of my mind
KHOR LO’I TSHUL NAM RAB TU KOR WA YI
In the inexhaustible melodic speech
DE DAG GI YANG SUNG YANG MI ZAD LA
Of the victorious ones appearing in the three times
LO YI TOB KYI DAG KYANG RAB TU JUK
Who turn the dharma like a wheel.
MA ONG KAL PA THAM CHAD JUK PAR YANG
As all future kalpas are penetrated
KAD CHIG CHIG GI DAG KYANG JUK PAR GYI
May I also penetrate them instantly;
GANG YANG KAL PA DU SUM TSHAD DE DAG
May I be engaged in and penetrate, in each part of an instant,
KAD CHIG CHA SHE KYI NI ZHUG PAR CHAD
As many kalpas as are in the three times.
DU SUM SHEG PA MI YI SENG GE GANG
May I see instantly
DE DAG KAD CHIG CHIG LA DAG GI TA
Those lions among humans appearing in the three times.
TAG TU DE DAG GI NI CHOD YUL LA
May I always be engaged in their sphere of experience
GYU MAR GYUR PAY NAM THAR TOB KYI JUK
Through the power of illusion-like liberation.
GANG YANG DU SUM DAG GI ZHING KOD PA
May I produce in a single atom
DE DAG DUL CHIG TENG DU NGON PAR DRUB
All the arrays of realms there are in the three times;
DE TAR MA LU CHOG NAM THAM CHAD DU
May I be engaged with the arrays of the buddha realms
GYAL WA DAG GI ZHING NAM KOD LA JUK
In all directions always.
GANG YANG MA JON JIG TEN DRON MA NAM
Those lamps of the worlds who have not yet appeared
JANG CHUB RIM PAR TSHANG GYA KHOR LO KOR
Will gradually awaken, turn the dharma wheel,

And demonstrate nirvana, the final peace-

May I go into the presence of those protectors.

KUN NE GO YI THEG PAY TOB DAG DANG
The power of the yana, the door,
KUN TU YON TEN CHOD PAY TOB NAM DANG
The power of conduct endowed with qualities,
KUN TU KHYAB PA JAM PA DAG GI TOB
The power of all-pervasive love,
KUN NAY GE WAY SOD NAM TOB DAG DANG
The power of virtuous merit,
CHAG PA MED PAR GYUR PAY YE SHE TOB
The power of wisdom free from attachments,
SHE RAB THAB DANG TING DZIN TOB DAG GI
And the powers of knowledge, methods, and samadhi
JANG CHUB TOB NAM YANG DAG DRUP PAR JED
May I perfectly accomplish the power of awakening.
LE KYI TOB NAM YONG SU DAG JED CHING
May I purify the power of karma,
NYON MONG TOB NAM KUN TU JOM PAR JED
Conquer the power of kleshas,
DUD KYI TOB NAM TOB MED RAB JED CHING
Render the power of maras powerless,
ZANG PO CHOD PAY TOB NI DZOG PAR GYI
And perfect the power of excellent conduct.
ZHING NAM GYA TSHO NAM PAR DAG JED CHING
May I purify oceans of realms,
SEM CHEN GYA TSHO DAG NI NAM PAR DROL
Liberate oceans of beings,
CHO NAM GYA TSHO RAB TU THONG JED CHING
Behold oceans of dharma,
YE SHE GYA TSHO RAB TU TOG PAR JED
Realize oceans of wisdom,
CHOD PA GYA TSHO NAM PAR DAG JED CHING
Purify oceans of conduct,
MON LAM GYA TSHO YONG SU DZOG PAR JED
Perfect oceans of aspiration prayers,
SANG GYE GYA TSHO RAB TU CHOD JED CHING
Offer to oceans of buddhas,
KAL PA GYA TSHOR MI KYO CHAD PAR GYI
And act without weariness throughout oceans of kalpas.
GANG YANG DU SUM SHEG PAY GYAL WA YI
All the victorious ones who appear in the three times
JANG CHUB CHOD PAY MON LAM JE DRAG NAM
Awaken into enlightenment through the excellent conduct
ZANG PO CHOD PAY JANG CHUB SANG GYE NAY
Of various aspiration prayers for awakened conduct-
DE KUN DAG GI MA LU DZOG PAR GYI
May I perfect all of these.
GYAL WA KUN GYI SEY KYI THU WO PA
The eldest son of the victorious ones
GANG GI MING NI KUN TU ZANG ZHE JA
Is called Samantabhadra by name.
KHE PA DE DANG TSHUNG PAR CHAD PAY CHIR
I dedicate all this virtue
GE WA DI DAG THAM CHAD RAB TU NGO
That I may act with skill similar to his.
LU DANG NGAG DANG YID KYANG NAM DAG CHING
May I also be equal to him
CHOD PA NAM DAG ZHING NAM YONG DAG PA
In his skill in excellent dedications
NGO WA ZANG PO KHE PA CHI DRA WA
For pure body, speech and mind,
DE DRAR DAG KYANG DE DANG TSUNG PAR SHOG
Pure conduct and pure realms.
KUN NE GE WA ZANG PO CHAD PAY CHIR
May I act according to the aspiration prayers of Manjushri
JAM PAL GYI NI MON LAM CHAD PAR GYI
In order to perform excellent virtue.
MA ONG KAL PA KUN TU MI KYO WAR
Not tiring throughout future kalpas,
DE YI JA WA MA LU DZOG PAR GYI
May I perfect these activities.
CHOD PA DAG NI TSHAD YOD MA GYUR CHIG
May my conduct be without measure,
YON TAN NAM KYANG TSHAD ZUNG MED PAR SHOG
May my qualities also be measureless.
CHOD PA TSHAD MED PA LA NE NE KYANG
Remaining within conduct without measure,
DE DAG TRUL PA THAM CHAD TSHAL WAR GYI
May I send out emanations.
NAM KHAY THAR THUG GYUR PA JI TSAM PAR
Sentient beings extend
SEM CHEN MA LU THA YANG DE ZHIN TE
As far as the limits of space;
JI TSAM LE DANG NYON MONG THAR GYUR PA
May my aspiration prayers extend
DAG GI MON LAM THA YANG DE TSAM MO
As far as the limits of their karma and kleshas.
GANG YANG CHOG CHU'I ZHING NAM THA YE PA
Though someone adorns with precious jewels
RIN CHEN GYAN TE GYAL WA NAM LA PHUL
The infinite realms of the ten directions, and offers these to the buddhas,
LHA DANG MI YI DE WAY CHOG NAM KYANG
Or offers the supreme happiness of gods and men
ZHING GI DUL NYED KAL PAR PHUL WA WAY
For kalpas as numerous as atoms in the realms,
GANG GI NGO WAY GYAL PO DI THO NE
The genuine merit of someone who
JANG CHUB CHOG GI JE SU RAB MO SHING
Hears this king of dedications,
LEN CHIG TSAM YANG DAD PA KYED PA NA
Who is inspired towards supreme awakening,
SOD NAM DAM PAY CHOG TU DI GYUR RO
And gives rise to faith in it even once is more supreme.
GANG GI ZANG CHOD MON LAM DI TAB PAY
Whoever makes this Aspiration Prayer for Excellent Conduct
DE NI NGAN SONG THAM CHAD PANG WAR GYUR
Will be free from the lower realms,
DE NI DROG PO NGAN PA PANG PA YIN
And free from negative friends;
NANG WA THA YE DE YANG DE NYUR THONG
They will see Amithaba soon,
DE DAG NYED PA RAB NYED DE WAR TSHO
Acquire all benefits and be sustained in happiness-
MI TSHE DIR YANG DE DAG LEG PAR ONG
With all of this their life will go well.
KUN TU ZANG PO DE YANG CHI DRA WAR
Before long they will become
DE DAG RING POR MI THOG DE ZHIN GYUR
Just like Samantabhadra.
TSHAM MED NGA PO DAG GI DIG PA NAM
Whatever has been done through the power of not knowing,
GANG GI MI SHE WANG GI JE PA DAG
All evil, even the five acts of immediate consequence,
DE YI ZANG PO CHOD PA DI JOD NA
Will be quickly purified
NYUR DU MA LU YONG SU JANG WAR GYUR
By those who recite this Excellent Conduct.
YE SHE DANG NI ZUG DANG TSHAN NAM DANG
They will possess wisdom, beauty and the signs,
RIG DANG KHA DOG NAM DANG DAN PAR GYUR
Be of good family with fine complexion.
DUD DANG MU TEG MANG PO DE MI THUB
They will not be overpowered by maras or tirthikas;
JIG TEN SUM PO KUN NANG CHOD PAR GYUR
The three worlds will make offerings to them.
JANG CHUB SHING WANG DRUNG DU DE NYUR DRO
They will soon go before the bodhi tree,
SONG NE SEM CHEN PHEN CHIR DER DUG TE
And having gone there, they will sit to benefit beings,
JANG CHUB SANG GYE KHOR LO RAB TU KOR
Awaken into enlightenment, turn the dharma wheel,
DUD NAM DE DANG CHE PA THAM CHAD TUL
And subdue all maras and their hordes.
GANG YANG ZANG PO CHOD PAY MON LAM DI
The full ripening for those who are involved with, teach or recite
CHANG WA DANG NI TON TAM LOG NA YANG
This Aspiration Prayer for Excellent Conduct
DE YI NAM PAR MIN PANG SANG GYE KHYEN
Is known only by the buddhas;
JANG CHUB CHOG LA SOM NYI MA JED CHIG
Without any doubt, it is supreme enlightenment.
JAM PAL PA WO JI TAR KHYEN PA DANG
With the same wisdom of courageous Manjushri and
KUN TU ZANG PO DE YANG DE ZHIN TEY
similarly, like (the aspirations of) Samantabhadra,
DE DAG KUN GYI JE SU DAG LOB CHIR
following them entirely in their manner of (dedicating merits),
GE WA DI DAG THAM CHAD RAB TU NGO
in the same way I dedicate all these merits completely.
DU SUM SHEG PAY GYAL WA THAM CHAD KYI
All the Sugatas, Victorious Ones of the three times
NGO WA GANG LA CHOG TU NGAG PA DE
have praised this dedication as supreme, thus
DAG GI GE WAY TSA WA DI KUN KYANG
all my roots of virtue
ZANG PO CHOD CHIR RAB TU NGO WAR GYI
are completely dedicated to excellent conduct
DAG NI CHI WAY DU JED GYUR PA NA
When the time of death comes for me
DRIB PA THAM CHAD DAG NI CHIR SAL TE
May all my obscurations vanish;
NGON SUM NANG WA TA YE DE TONG NE
Seeing Amitabha directly
DE WA CHEN GYI ZHING DER RAB TU DRO
May I go to his realm of Sukhavati.
DER SONG NE NI MON LAM DI DAG KYANG
Having gone there, may I actualize
THAM CHAD MA LU NGON DU GYUR WAR SHOG
All these aspiration prayers,
DE DAG MA LU DAG GI YONG SU KANG
Fulfill them completely,
JIG TEN JI SID SEM CHEN PHEN PAR GYI
And benefit beings as long as worlds exist.
GYAL WAY KYIL KHOR ZANG ZHING GA WA DER
May I be born within a beautiful lotus
PAD MO DAM PA SHIN TU DZE LE KYE
In that excellent and joyous realm of the victorious one;
NANG WA THA YE GYAL WE NGON SUM DU
And from the victorious one Amitabha directly
LUNG TEN PA YANG DAG GI DER THOB SHOG
May I receive a prophecy.
DER NI DAG GI LUNG TEN RAB THOB NE
Having received his prophecy there,
TRUL PA MANG PO JE WA THRAG GYA YI
May I benefit all beings in the ten directions
LO YI TOB KYI CHOG CHU NAM SU YANG
Through the power of my mind
SEM CHEN NAM LA PHEN PA MANG PO GYI
With many billions of emanations.
ZANG PO CHOD PAY MON LAM TON PA YI
Through whatever slight virtue I have accumulated
GE WA CHUNG ZAD DAG GI CHI SAG PA
By making this Aspiration Prayer for Excellent Conduct,
DE NI DRO WAY MON LAM GE WA NAM
May the virtue of the aspiration prayers for all beings
KAD CHIG CHIG GI THAM CHAD JOR WAR SHOG
Be accomplished instantly.
GANG YANG ZANG PO CHOD PA DI NGO PAY
Whatever excellent conduct here is dedicated
SOD NAM THA YE DAM PA GANG THOB DAY
so that by the limitless and sublime merit attained,
DRO WA DUG NGAL CHU WOR JING WA NAM
all sentient beings who are sinking in the river of sufferings
OD PAG MED PAY NE RAB THOB PAR SHOG
may reach the sacred realm of Infinite Light (Amitabha)
MON LAM GYAL PO DI DAG CHOG GI TSO
May this King of Aspiration Prayers
THA YE DRO WA KUN LA PHEN JED CHING
Bring about the supreme aim and benefit for all infinite beings;
KUN TU ZANG PO GYAN PAY ZHUNG DRUB TE
Completing this scripture adorned by Samantabhadra,
NGAN SONG NE NAM MA LU TONG WAR SHOG
May the lower realms be empty.
