ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།
om ah hung
སྐུ་གསུམ་དག་པའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་སུ། །
In the pure realms of the three kāyas,
བྱིན་རླབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས། །
Blessings and attainments are in perfect abundance.
རྒྱལ་བ་དགོངས་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མ་ལ། །
To the gurus of the victorious ones' mind-direct transmission,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
We pray: inspire us with your blessings!
དུར་ཁྲོད་ཆེན་པོའི་གནས་མཆོག་ཏུ། །
durtrö chenpö né chok tu
In the supreme places of the great charnel grounds,
མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་བརྙེས། །
You gained supreme and ordinary attainments.
རིག་འཛིན་བརྡ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མ་ལ། །
To the gurus of the vidyādharas' sign transmission,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
We pray: inspire us with your blessings!
དངོས་གྲུབ་འབྱུང་བའི་སྒྲུབ་གནས་སུ། །
ngödrup jungwé drup né su
In places of accomplishment, sources of attainment,
རང་གཞན་དོན་གཉིས་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས། །
rang shyen dön nyi punsum tsok
Your own and others' welfare is perfectly secured.
གང་ཟག་སྙན་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མ་ལ། །
gangzak nyengyü lama la
To the gurus of the individuals' whispered transmission,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
We pray: inspire us with your blessings!
སྟུག་པོ་བཀོད་པའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་སུ། །
tukpo köpé shying kham su
In the realm of Ghanavyūha, 'Dense Array',
ཐམས་ཅད་སྐུ་དང་ཡེ་ཤེས་དང༌། །
tamché ku dang yeshe dang
Everything appears as kāyas and wisdoms.
ཡི་དམ་ཞི་ཁྲོ་རབ་འབྱམས་ལ། །
To the infinite yidam deities, peaceful and wrathful,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

གནས་དང་ཉེ་བའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་སུ། །
né dang nyéwé shying kham su
In sacred places and associated realms,
དངོས་གྲུབ་ཡིད་བཞིན་ཆར་འབེབས་པའི། །
ngödrup yishyin char bebpé
You bring a wish-granting rain of accomplishments.
བདེ་ཆེན་མཁའ་འགྲོ་རིགས་ལྔ་ལ། །
To the five families of the ḍākinīs of great bliss,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

རྣམ་དག་སྒྲུབ་པའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་སུ། །
namdak drubpé shying kham su
In realms of utterly pure accomplishment,
མཐུ་སྟོབས་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད། །
tu tob dzutrul paktu mé
Your power, strength and miraculous abilities are beyond measure.
མཁའ་འགྲོ་དམ་ཅན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལ། །
To the hosts of ḍākinīs and oath-bound guardians,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

གདོད་ནས་དག་པ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབྱིངས། །
To the primordially pure dharmadhātu,
འགྱུར་མེད་རིག་པའི་ཀློང་ཡངས་སུ། །
gyurmé rigpé long yang su
The vast expanse of changeless awareness,
གནས་རང་སྣང་འོད་གསལ་འོག་མིན་ལ། །
In which the Akaniṣṭha realm of clear light naturally appears,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །

We pray: inspire us with your blessings!
རང་རིག་གདོད་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ། །
In our own pure awareness, primordially enlightened,
སྐུ་དང་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ། །
ku dang yeshe lhun gyi drup
The kāyas and wisdoms are spontaneously present.
སྟོན་པ་ཡེ་ནས་ཕུན་ཚོགས་ལ། །
To this teacher, perfect from the beginning,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
We pray: inspire us with your blessings!
ཅིར་སྣང་རང་བྱུང་ཡེ་ཤེས་ངང༌། །
chir nang rangjung yeshe ngang
To the state in which whatever appears is self-arising wisdom,
རང་སྣང་རིག་པ་ཚོམ་བུར་བཅས། །
Naturally manifest awareness is complete with maṇḍala gatherings,
འཁོར་ཀུན་ཡེ་ནས་ལྷུན་རྫོགས་ལ། །
khor kun yé né lhun dzok la
And all that surrounds us is, and always has been, spontaneously perfect,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
We pray: inspire us with your blessings!
མཉམ་རྫོགས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཀྱི་ངང༌། །
nyam dzok chang chub sem kyi ngang
To this perfect equality, the state of awakening mind,
ཡེ་ནས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རྒྱུ་འབྲས་འདས། །
Spontaneously and primordially present, beyond cause and effect,
ཆོས་ཀུན་ཡེ་ནས་རྫོགས་ཆེན་ལ། །
Wherein all phenomena are, and always have been, the Great Perfection:
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop

ཐམས་ཅད་འགྱུར་མེད་དག་པའི་ཀློང༌། །
tamché gyurmé dakpé long
The pure expanse wherein all is unchanging,
རྟག་པ་རྒྱུན་གྱི་འཁོར་ལོའི་གཞི། །
takpa gyün gyi khorlö shyi
The ground of continuously present eternity —
དུས་བཞི་རྒྱུན་གྱི་འཁོར་ལོ་ལ། །
To this fourth time, forever unfolding,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
We pray: inspire us with your blessings!
ཅིར་སྣང་སྐུ་དང་ཡེ་ཤེས་དང༌། །
Whatever appears manifests as kāyas and wisdoms,
གྲགས་སྟོང་སྐྱེ་མེད་ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ། །
drak tong kyé mé chö kyi dra
Emptiness is heard as the unborn sound of Dharma,
དྲན་རིག་ཡེ་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཐུགས། །
And thoughts are the primordially awakened wisdom mind.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
To such a state, we pray: inspire us with blessings!
རང་སྣང་རིག་པའི་ཀློང་ཆེན་འདིར། །
In this great expanse of naturally manifesting awareness,
སྣང་སྲིད་སྣོད་བཅུད་རྣམ་དག་པས། །
nangsi nöchü namdakpé
Appearance and existence are the pure vessel and its contents,
འཁོར་བ་མ་སྤངས་དོང་སྤྲུགས་སུ། །
khorwa ma pang dongtruk su
And saṃsāra is not rejected but emptied from its very depths.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
To such a state, we pray: inspire us with blessings!
རང་རིག་མཁའ་མཉམ་ཀློང་ཆེན་དུ། །
In the great, sky-like expanse of our own awareness,
སྐུ་གསུམ་མ་བཙལ་ཡེ་རྫོགས་པས། །
The three kāyas are not to be sought, but are already perfect,
མྱང་འདས་མ་སྒྲུབ་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ལ། །
nyangdé ma drup lhundrup la
And nirvāṇa, even without being cultivated, is spontaneously present.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
To such a state, we pray: inspire us with blessings!
ཆོས་ཀུན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཀྱི་ཀློང༌། །
chö kun changchup sem kyi long
All dharmas within the expanse of awakening mind
མ་སྦྱངས་མ་བགྲོད་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ། །
ma jang ma drö lhun gyi drup
Are neither purified nor gradually attained, but spontaneously perfect.
ཐམས་ཅད་ཡེ་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ། །
To this state, in which all is buddhahood from the very beginning,
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
solwa depso chin gyi lop
We pray: inspire us with blessings!
རིག་པ་ཀ་དག་ཆོས་སྐུའི་ཀློང༌། །
To primordially pure awareness, the expanse of dharmakāya,
ཟང་ཐང་རྗེན་པར་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
zangtal jenpar solwa dep
Which is transparent and nakedly clear, we pray!
རྒྱ་གྲོལ་བར་མེད་ཕྱལ་པའི་ངང༌། །
gyadrol barmé chalwé ngang
A state that is unbounded, uninterrupted and pervasive —
རྫོགས་པ་ཆེན་པོར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
dzokpa chenpor chin gyi lop
Inspire us to realize the Great Perfection!
ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་འོད་གསལ་ཀློང༌། །
Spontaneously present wisdom, the expanse of clear light —
དབྱིངས་སྣང་དག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
Inspire us to realize the pure manifestations of absolute space!
འཆར་གཞི་མ་འགགས་སྤྲུལ་པའི་ཀློང༌། །
char shyi ma gak trulpé long
The expanse of manifestation that is the basis for ceaseless arising —
གཟུང་འཛིན་དག་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
Inspire us to realize the purity of dualistic grasping!
ཆོས་ཀུན་རང་བྱུང་རིག་པའི་ཀློང༌། །
chö kun rangjung rigpé long
The expanse in which all phenomena are self-arising, pure awareness —
འབད་མེད་ཡོངས་གྲོལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
bé mé yongdrol chin gyi lop
Inspire us to realize the total freedom that is beyond all effort!
རྒྱུ་འབྲས་བླང་དོར་བྱ་རྩོལ་འདས། །
gyudré langdor chatsol dé
Transcending cause and effect, adoption or avoidance, effort or exertion —
གཞི་རྫོགས་ཆོས་སྐུར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
shyi dzok chökur chin gyi lop
Inspire us to realize the perfect ground of dharmakāya!
ཐམས་ཅད་མཉམ་རྫོགས་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀློང༌། །
tamché nyam dzok changchub long
The expanse of awakening in which all is perfect equality —
ཁམས་གསུམ་ཡོངས་གྲོལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
kham sum yongdrol chin gyi lop
Inspire us to realize the complete liberation of the three realms!
བླ་མ་ཡི་དམ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ལ། །
To the gurus, yidam deities and ḍākinīs,
རང་གཞན་དོན་དུ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
rangshyen dön du solwa dep
For our own and others' sake, we pray:
དགོངས་པ་ཆོས་ཉིད་ཟད་སར་སྐྱོལ། །
gongpa chönyi zésar kyol
Inspire us to reach the realization in which all dissolves into dharmatā,
དོན་གཉིས་རྫོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
And thereby to perfect the two-fold benefit of ourselves and others!
དབྱིངས་ཀ་ནས་དག་པ་ཆོས་ཟད་ངང༌། །
The space of primordial purity, wherein ordinary phenomena are exhausted,
བློ་འདས་ཆོས་སྐུར་ཟང་ཐལ་ལེ། །
lo dé chökur zangtal lé
Dharmakāya beyond the conceptual mind, in which all is transparent and clear —
བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
Gurus of the oral lineage: inspire us with your blessings!
རྩ་བའི་བླ་མས་ཐུགས་རྗེས་ཟུངས། །
Root guru, hold us in your compassion!
རང་སྣང་འོད་གསལ་ལོངས་སྐུའི་ཞིང༌། །
The sambhogakāya realm of self-appearing luminosity,
སྐུ་དང་ཐིག་ལེ་མེ་རེ་རེ། །
ku dang tiklé mé ré ré
Wherein the buddha-forms and light-spheres shimmer and glow —
བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
Gurus of the oral lineage: inspire us with your blessings!
རྩ་བའི་བླ་མས་ཐུགས་རྗེས་ཟུངས། །
Root guru, hold us in your compassion!
དབྱིངས་རིག་མཁའ་ལྟར་དག་པའི་ཀློང༌། །
ying rig kha tar dakpé long
The immaculate, sky-like expanse of space and awareness,
འོད་གསལ་རླུང་སེམས་རྣམ་དག་ཏུ། །
ösal lung sem namdak tu
The clear light in which prāṇa-mind is utterly pure —
བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
Gurus of the oral lineage: inspire us with your blessings!
རྩ་བའི་བླ་མས་ཐུགས་རྗེས་ཟུངས། །
Root guru, hold us in your compassion!
ཐམས་ཅད་ཟབ་མོའི་ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀློང༌། །
tamché zabmö chönyi long
So that all may reach the profound expanse of dharmatā,
ཅི་བསམ་ཡིད་བཞིན་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ཏུ། །
chi sam yishyin lhundrup tu
Wherein each and every wish is spontaneously fulfilled,
བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
Lamas of the oral lineage: inspire us with your blessings!
རྩ་བའི་བླ་མས་ཐུགས་རྗེས་ཟུངས། །
Root guru, hold us in your compassion!
གསོལ་འདེབས་ཆེན་མོ་སྐུ་གསུམ་དག་པ་ཕུན་ཚོགས་དཔལ་འབར་ཞེས་བྱ་བ། ཐེག་པ་མཆོག་གི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་ཀློང་ཆེན་རབ་འབྱམས་ཀྱིས། རྫོགས་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གསོལ་བ་ཡང་ཡང་བཏབ་པའི་ངོར། ལྷུན་གྲུབ་གླིང་གི་དབེན་གནས་སུ་བཀོད་པ་རྫོགས་སོ།། །།
This completes the great prayer entitled “The Pure Three Kāyas Ablaze in Perfect Splendour”, which Longchen Rabjam, a yogi of the supreme vehicle, set down in the isolated place of Lhundrup Ling by in response to the repeated entreaties of several yogis of the Great Perfection.
