visions

I have been feeling trippy and floaty lately. I have been taking gotu kola extract, which supposdly helps cultivate the right mindstate for enlightenment, boosts dopamine, cleans out toxins and helps rebuild dendrites.

I've been looking at visionary art - alex grey, luke brown, and a few other people. Particularily ones around the DMT experience. Without even taking dmt, I feel that looking at these images of the dmt experience while on gotu kola gives me higher levels of dmt.

I decided that I really want to be involved in this kind of art, I am extremely inspired by this kind of style. I bought a canvas and I've been sketching.

cordyceps increases vo2 max which is the bodies oxygen levels, I'm researching other vo2 max increasing supplements.

I also just today heard of an herb called Jyotishmati, which literally means 'celestial intellect,' it is regarded as one of the great nootropic herbs of the Vedic and Ayurvedic Traditions.

This quote is for my own future reference on tantra:

"Historically speaking there is a longstanding tradition of herb/plant usage in tantra. Typically, this is referred to as "ausadhi" (Tib. "sman") meaning "herbs/drugs/medicine" or siddhausadhi (Tib. "sman grub") meaning "perfect medicine" or "power medicine".

These herbs are sometimes used to produce "siddhis" or "accomplishments" which can range from shamanic type magical powers to the experience of enlightenment (sometimes called "mahamudra siddhi").

Another closely related discipline is "rasayana" (Tib. "bcud-len") which is a type of tantric alchemy. The typical goal of "rasayana" is the siddhi of "deathlessness" which can mean either physical longevity or the attainment or "[[eternal" [[

states of consciousness]]. Although "deathlessness is the main siddhi sought other siddhis are pursued and attained in rasayana."

"In Nepal I stayed with an old Tantrika who as a youth traveled all over India with a band of Tantrik Sadhus, he new much about plants, he said that Soma was like a cross between Brahmi and Ganja. He said it was a rare plant. I asked him why they don't like mushrooms in India (they are considered "Tamasika guna" or static in quality) he said "the only mushrooms good to eat are that which grow out of cow patties") I almost fell out of my seat laughing. That answer was quite unexpected."

"The South American herb Jatropha or Huana pro is said to have supernatural aphrodisiac properties. Amazonmedicine.com has it"

"I drink sage tea for mental sharpness and to help my memory."

"damiana is always a great herb for sexuality, smoke it, vaporize it, make tea out of it. Men can use it also but it seems to work more on a spirit / communication plane than a glandular / libido one. If you drink two or three cups you will experience a mild buzz."
