Uddhacca-kukkucca ;restlessness and regret; Restlessness and regret is another pair among the hindrances. When there is restlessness and regret the citta is not peaceful. Restlessness and regret obstruct the performing of kusala, and at such moments there cannot be mindfulness of nama and rupa.
