Uliasutai

 

(also Dzhavkhlant, Dzhibkhalantu), a city in the Mongolian People’s Republic. Located in the western part of the country on the Bogdyn-Gol River (a tributary of the Dzabkhan). Capital of the aimak of Dzabkhan. Population, 6,600 (1963). Uliasutai is linked by road to the Trans-Mongolian Highway. Livestock products are processed in the city. Uliasutai is the location of a veterinary and zootechnical station.
