eight Evil ways (八邪行). The opposite of the Eightfold Right Path. They are
(1) Evil views,
(2) Evil Thinking,
(3) Evil speech,
(4) Evil action,
(5) Evil Livelihood,
(6) Evil endeavor,
(7) Evil Mindfulness, and
(8) Evil Samādhi.
