The Shambhala teachings discovered by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche are terma. The Rinchen Terdzo was assembled by the 19th century teacher Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye. It took 33 years to create and is comprised of essential Nyingma practices discovered as terma between the 11th and 19th centuries.
