There are three Chinese translations in addition to the one by Hsüan-tsang: the five-volume version translated by Bodhiruchi in the early sixth century, and two abridged versions, the two-volume translation by Gunabhadra in the mid-fifth century and the one-volume translation by Paramartha in the latter part of the sixth century.
