    Also known as The Treatise Resolving Numerous Doubts. A work by Huai-kan, a priest of the Chinese Pure Land school, written in the seventh century. Huai-kan had been a priest of the Dharma Characteristics (Fa-hsiang) school, but later studied under the Pure Land teacher Shan-tao. He died before finishing the work, and Huai-yün, another of Shan-tao's disciples, completed it. Written in question-and-answer format, this treatise addresses questions about the Pure Land teachings from the standpoint of the Consciousness-Only doctrine of the Dharma Characteristics school.
