Three authentics (Wyl. tshad ldan gsum) — the three authentic factors which must come together in order for the introduction to the nature of mind to take place:
- the authentic blessings of the master (bla ma byin rlabs tshad ldan)
- authentic devotion of the student (slob ma mos gus tshad ldan)
- authentic instructions of the lineage (brgyud pa'i gdams ngag tshad ldan)
