Namkha'i Nyingpo. Translator, one of the eight great students, Sent to India with 107 others by the Tibetan king to study with Indian pandits in preparation for massive translation project. Upon returning to Tibet, he was ordained by Shantarakshita. Again sent to India with four young monks to connect with Mahasiddhas. Humkara initiated them into the Heruka sadhanas; Namkha'i learned to fly and heal. Returning to Tibet, he heals the king and they become lifelong friends.
