Kawanobe, the lay priest of
河野辺の入道 (n.d.) ( Jpn Kawanobe-no-nyudo)
A follower of Nichiren. He is thought to have been arrested and imprisoned because of his association with Nichiren at the time of the Tatsunokuchi Persecution in 1271.
