Or Six Virtues or Six Perfections Of The Sutra On Perfect Wisdom
- 1. perfect charity (Generosity, dana)
- 2. perfect observation of the precepts (ethics, discipline) (sila)
- 3. perfect perseverance (ksanti) (patience; endurance)
- 4. perfect energy (virya) (zeal, effort and progress)
- 5. perfect meditation (concentration)
- 6. perfect wisdom (prajna)
Six perfections The perfections of giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, mental stabilization, and wisdom. They are called `perfections’ because they are motivated by bodhichitta.
