Most Westerners are familiar with the use of meditation as a way to clear the mind and increase focus and concentration.  To the Eastern world, meditation is performed using Mantras.  The purpose of which goes beyond the everyday use of mediation to reach the practionneer on a spiritual plane.  Mantras have been used for thousands of years as a method of attuning the mind, body and spirit to the unseen energies of the universe.  Mantras are comprised of the seed sounds associated with the creation of the universe.  Repetiton of these sounds creates within  the user a physcial vibration attuned to a spiritual one. A connection to the Devine.  It is my personal beleif that as sound can be used to shatter away obstacles in life, so to can Mantras shatter away blockages within our suble bodies, allowing the enegy to flow through our Chakra system in a more complete and health way.

The word Mantra is comprised of two Sanskrit words:

Mana: MindTrai: To protect/To free from Most Westerners are familiar with the use of Meditation as a way to clear the Mind and increase focus and Concentration.
