The deities' three centres are marked with the three seed syllables…
སོགས་ཞི་པ་ལྟར་ལ༔ བསྟོད་པའི་སྐབས༔ སྡུག་བསྔལ་རང་གྲོལ་གྱི་མཚན༔
And so on, continue with the peaceful sādhana. For the praise, change the words ‘In your form as Natural Liberation of Suffering’ to:
ཧྱ་གྲཱི་བའི་སྐུར༔
hayagriwe kur
ཞེས་དང་༔ རིགས་བཞིའི་སེམས་མ་ཞེས་པར༔
and when it says ‘Ladies of the four families’, change the words to
དབང་ཆེན་སྡེ་བཞི༔ ཞེས་བསྒྱུར༔
wangchen dé shyi

དེ་ནས་བསྙེན་པ་བྱ་བ་ནི༔
The Recitation of the Approach Phase
ཡེ་ཤེས་སེམས་དཔའ་སེམས་ཉིད་ངལ་བསོར་གསལ་བའི་ཐུགས་ཀར་པད་ཉིའི་སྟེང་དུ་ཧྲཱིཿཡིག་དམར་པོའི་མཐར༔
yeshe sempa semnyi ngalsor salwé tukkar pé nyi tengdu hrih yik marpö tar
Within the heart of the wisdom deity, appearing in the form of Natural Liberation of Suffering, upon a lotus and sun disk seat, is a red syllable hrīḥ, surrounded by
ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀྲོ་ཏ་ཧྱ་གྷྲི་ཝ་ཧུ་ལུ་ཧུ་ལུ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ྄ཿ
om benza krota hayaghriwa hulu hulu hung pé
oṃ vajra-krodha-hayagrīva hulu hulu hūṃ phaṭ
ཞེས་པས་བསྐོར་བ་ལ་དམིགས་པ་གཏད་ནས་འབྲུ་འབུམ་ལས་རུང་གི་ཚད་དོ༔
Focus on the turning of the [[[mantra]] garland]. The number of mantras that must be recited in order to carry out activities is 100,000 for each of the mantra’s seed-syllables.
ལས་ལ་སྦྱོར་ན༔ རྩ་སྔགས་ཀྱི་མགོར༔
To carry out the activities, add the following before the root mantra:
ཨེ་ཨ་ར་ལི་དང་ཿ
é arali
e ārali
And at the end:
ཞབས་ལ་བཛྲ་དུན་བྷྱོཿ ཏྲིག་ནན་ཛཿཛཿ ས་མ་ཡ་སཏྭཾཿ
benza dün jo | trik nen dza dza | samaya satom
vajra dün bhyoḥ | trig nan jaḥ jaḥ | samaya satvaṃ
ཞེས་བཏགས་ལ་སྣང་སྲིད་ཐམས་ཅད་མེའི་ཚྭ་ཚྭས་བསྲེགས་ཤིང་སྟོང་པར་སྦྱངས་བའི་ངང་ལ་ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀྱི་ངང་མདངས་བསྐྱངས་པས་སྡེ་བརྒྱད་དབང་དུ་འདུ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ༔
All appearance and existence is incinerated by sparks of fire and purified into emptiness. Through maintaining the radiance of the nature of reality, all the eight classes of gods and demons will be brought under control.
ཐུན་མཐར་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལོ་སོགས་རྗེས་ཆོག་རྣམས་རིག་འཛིན་གཞུང་ལ་ཚིག་ཕྲད་བསྒྱུར་བར་བྱའོ༔
At the end of the session, carry out the concluding rituals such as the wheel of the feast-offering by adapting the words of the Vidyādhara Assembly text.2
བྱ་སླ་ཁྱེར་བདེའི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཆེ༔
Based on this practice, which is easy, convenient and imbued with great blessing,
འདི་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་བཙན་པོ་ཡིས༔
The Emperor sounded the horse’s neigh
རྟ་སྐད་སྟོང་གསུམ་གང་བ་བསྒྲགས༔
Throughout the three thousand-fold universe.
དེ་ཕྱིར་འདི་ལ་རྟ་མགྲིན་ནི༔
Therefore, this important teaching on Hayagrīva
རྒྱལ་པོའི་ལུགས་ཞེས་གནག་པའི་ཆོས༔
Is renowned as the tradition of the King.
ས་མ་ཡཿ རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱཿ དྷ་ཐིམཿ
Samaya. Seal, seal, seal. Let the signs be absorbed.
