An entity (Skt. vastu; Tib. དངོས་པོ་; Wyl. dngos po) is defined as "something capable of performing a function".[1]

Subdivisions

Entities can be divided into aspects of consciousness (ཤེས་པ་, shes pa), matter (བེམ་པོ་, bem po) and non-concurrent formations.
