Six Perfections

Or Six Virtues or Six Perfections Of The Sutra On Perfect Wisdom

1. perfect charity (Generosity, dana)
2. perfect observation of the precepts (ethics, discipline) (sila)
3. perfect perseverance (ksanti) (patience; endurance)
4. perfect energy (virya) (zeal, effort and progress)
5. perfect meditation (concentration)
6. perfect wisdom (prajna)







Six perfections The perfections of giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, mental stabilization, and wisdom. They are called `perfections’ because they are motivated by bodhichitta.
