The five rebellious acts or five deadly sins:
- 1. parricide, i.e., killing father
- 2. matricide, i.e., killing mother
- 3. killing an arhat
- 4. shedding the blood of a Buddha
- 5. destroying the harmony of the sangha, or fraternity.
