khandhaka : [m.] a division or chapter.
Khandhaka [fr. khandha] division, chapter, esp. in the Vinaya (at end of each division we find usually the postscript: so & so khandhakaŋ niṭṭhitaŋ "here ends the chapter of . . ."); in cpd. ˚vatta, i. e. duties or observances specified in the v. khandha or chapter of the Vinaya which deals with these duties Vism 12, 101 (cp.
