Dependent-related phenomenon; Any phenomenon that exists in dependence upon other phenomena. All phenomena are dependent related because all phenomena depend upon their parts. Sometimes `dependent related’ (Tib. ten drel) is distinguished from `dependent arising’ (Tib. ten jung), with the latter meaning arising in dependence upon causes and conditions. However, the two terms are often used interchangeably.
