Bodhi Sangha is the name of the worldwide society of Zen practitioners and disciples of Pater AMA Samy. Bodhi Zendo and the work of Little Flower are profoundly supported by this society.

The original meaning of Bodhi is "Awakening". It describes the awareness of the true nature of the universe and the realization of the non-duality of Nirvana and Samsara (The circuit of death and live). It is the awakening to wisdom (Prajna) and the internalisation of the Buddha-nature. It also means to behold of the substantial emptyness (Shunyata) and the realisation of the suchness (Tathata) of all being.

"Sangha" means a community of the followers of Buddha. Traditionally, in Buddhism almost always has one of two meanings: most commonly, sangha means the order of ordained Buddhist monks or nuns. In a stricter sense, sangha can mean the assembly of all beings possessing some degree of enlightenment. In modern Western countries, sangha is used much more loosely to refer to any group of Buddhist laypeople, with a meaning similar to "congregation."
