Ghatotkach Caves are situated 18 Km to west of Ajantha, near Jinjala village India.

Caves include three Buddhist caves, one is Chaitya and two viharas.

Caves were excavated in 6 century AD influenced by Mahayana Buddhism.

Caves have one inscription from the Minister of Vakataka dynasty.

The inscription is about Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha.

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation advises only for adventurous traveller as the access is difficult.
