karma mandala
羯磨曼荼羅 (Jpn katsuma-mandara )

    (1) One of the four types of mandala. The karma mandala depicts the actions of Buddhas and bodhisattvas who lead living beings to enlightenment.

    (2) The various arrangements of statues of Buddhas and bodhisattvas enshrined on altars.
