Form (matter): (S. rupa, T. zug) The physical Body, mind and of sense organs. The Body is thus analyzed in terms of the five elements: space, solidity, fluidity, motion,
and heat. Form (Rupa) The aggregate of form corresponds to what we would call material or physical factors. It includes our own bodies, and material objects as well. Specifically, the aggregate of form includes the
five physical organs (eye, ear, nose, tongue, body), and the corresponding physical objects of the sense organs (sight, sound, smell, taste and tangible objects).
Form is the shape, visual appearance, constitution or configuration of an object. In a wider sense, the form is the way something is or happens, the answer to "how?". When then considering the idea of global form, the sense of form reaches the one of Gestalt, as in Gestalt psychology.
