Sthavara, meaning Stable One, or Prthvi, meaning Earth or Vasundhara which means the Bearer of Treaure. So this whole story of Siddhartha touching the earth has three elements that we could look at a little more closely - there is the attack by Mara, there is the response of calling on the earth to witness and there is the emergence of the earth goddess.
