Praising Rebirth in the Pure Land

Also known as The Verses Praising Rebirth in the Pure Land. A work by Shan-tao (613-681), the third patriarch of the Chinese Pure Land school, which describes the way of practice for attaining rebirth in the Pure Land of Amida Buddha. In it, Shan-tao formulates a method of reciting verses of praise, including those by Nagarjuna and Vasubandhu, six times a day in worship of Amida Buddha.
