Before White Lotus was formed, there is an old religion by the Persian called the “Moh Li (Mani) Religion” 摩尼教, which is a very old religion created by the Persian and their founder is called “Mani”. This is a religion that combine the Christianity and Zoroastrianism theory into one. After this religion was brought into China in the Tang Dynasty, the female King Wu Jak Tin 武則天 (624-705 AD) had changed the name to "Bright Religion" or "Ming Gaau 明教" - which is where White Lotus is born from. Why They Are Evil

White Lotus is evil because they were talking things from different religions and paths to form their own cult, and to manipulate their believers to do certain things for them, such as:

    Performing their scams
    Join their rebellion groups
Spread false knowledge and false history
Scare tactic with a "Contract with God"
    Practising sorcery and evil magic
    Mind controlling strategies
    Possession with evil spirits
    Worship evils
    and more...

Why They Scam You

White Lotus can scam people for many things aside from money, and that is why most people fall for it! They can scam you for the following things:

    Money, donations, etc,.
    Trust and believe their magic
Have you ordain into their sect
    More believers and devotees
    Free verbal promotions and advertising
    Sex and others

How They Threaten You

Do not leak your "secret spells" or else you lost all your power, meaning that your blade-proof body is gone!
Do not betray your master or sect, or else you will be punished by the deities or gods. (Disaster will come to you)
Do not dare to be bad to your master, or else he have tons of evil magic to use on you for punishments, including lethal ones.
    others......
