Jibu-bo 治部房 (1257–1318)

    A disciple of Nichiren who was originally a priest at Shijuku-in, a temple of the Tendai school, in Suruga Province), Japan.

He took faith in Nichiren's teachings and studied under Nichiji, later one of the six senior priests designated by Nichiren.

He was one of the eighteen priests charged with the responsibility of attending to Nichiren's tomb.

According to a record dated 1298 by Nikko listing the disciples on whom he bestowed the Gohonzon (object of devotion),

Jibu-bo was among the recipients but turned against Nikko.
