Ngawang Jigdral Rinpoche, (b. 1982) known as Pemba Sherpa, is a Nyingma tulku and the 3rd reincarnation of Gomchen Rinpoche (Sangay Yeshey).

From early age he displayed various signs of faith and commitment towards the holy Dharma. From early age he joined Himalaya Sherpa Buddhist School in Nepal where he learned basic Buddhist and secular studies. Later he joined Nyingma institute taktse, Gangtok, Sikkim, India (Higher Buddhist Studies and Research Center) to peruse higher Buddhist studies. In year 2008, he successfully completed the 9th year course and received his M.A. in Buddhist Philosophy. He is now planning a three year retreat.

He is initiated in, reading transmission and teachings from various masters, notably: His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, H.H. Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche, H.H. Dalai Lama, H.H. Drodrupchen Rinpoche, H.E. Lachung Rinpoche, H.E. Thubden Palzang Rinpoche, Ven. Khenpo Pema Sherab, Khenpo Namdrol and especially tsawe lama H.E. Khenchen Rigzin Dorjee Rinpoche and H.H. Trulshik Rinpoche.

He is also the founder and Head Lama of Pema Namding Monastery, which is located in Juving VDC. Ward No. 09, Kharikhola, Solukhumbu, Nepal. It has nearly 25 monks. He is starting a retreat center in Sikkim, India.

He is giving timely Buddhist preaching and blessing to the people and his student in USA,and Europe In most of the parts of Sikkim (India) and many other place in Nepal.
