Sthavara, meaning Stable One, or Prthvi, meaning Earth or Vasundhara which means the Bearer of Treaure. So this whole story of [[Siddhartha]] touching the [[earth]] has three elements that we could look at a little more closely - there is the attack by Mara, there is the response of calling on the earth to witness and there is the emergence of the earth goddess.
