Pure Emerald World
浄瑠璃世界 ( Jpn Joruri-sekai)

Also known as the Pure Emerald Land. The pure land of Medicine Master Buddha, who is said to dwell as many Buddha lands away in the east as the grains of sand of ten Ganges Rivers. According to the Medicine Master Sutra, its ground is made of emerald, ropes of gold mark the boundaries of roads, and the seven kinds of gems adorn its buildings. Two bodhisattvas, Sunlight and Moonlight, are described as the leaders of the countless bodhisattvas in this land and also as upholders and guardians of the teachings of Medicine Master Buddha.
