Punyatāra 弗若多羅 (n.d.) (Skt; Jpn Futsunyatara): A monk from Kashmir famed for his observance of, and his learning regarding, the precepts. During the period from 399 until 416, he went to China and participated with Kumārajīva in the translation of The Ten Divisions of Monastic Rules. He died before its completion.
