Fa-ch'yan
法全 (n.d.) (PY Faquan; Jpn Hassen)
A priest of Esoteric Buddhism of the late T'ang dynasty (618-907) in China. He transmitted the esoteric doctrines to Jikaku and Chisho, later respectively the third and the fifth chief priest of Enryaku-ji, the head temple of the Japanese Tendai school, when they journeyed to China ( Jikaku in 838 and Chishoin 853). He wrote many treatises on Esoteric Buddhism.
