Vyavaharika in English Vyavaharika (Sanskrit) [from vy-ava-hri to act or behave in affairs from the verbal root hri to carry, receive, obtain, hold] Relating to business or practice, hence practical. Pertaining to the ordinary pragmatic affairs of life or custom. In Vedantic philosophy one of the three forms of existence in human life in contradistinction to the only real life (paramarthika) and the illusory life (pratibhasika).
