One of the seven treasures that a gold-wheel-turning king, or an ideal ruler in ancient India, was said to possess.
The seven treasures are:
a gold wheel,
elephants,
horses,
jewels,
jewel-like women,
excellent ministers of financial affairs, and
generals.
A wheel-turning king possesses one of the four kinds of wheels— gold, silver, copper, and iron.
A gold wheel is the most superior of the four kinds of wheels, and a ]]gold-wheel-turning king\\ who possesses a ]]gold-wheel treasure\\ rules all the four continents surrounding Mount Sumeru.
