Daily Mantras
I have compiled the below mantras (with brief explanation) which are very useful and beneficial to recite daily, especially more so if you have received the empowerment of the particular Buddha or deity. Click on the photos to have a better, larger view of each beautiful Buddha in order to aid your visualisation. Memorise one mantra a day and you can chant all the mantras in no time.
When we recite special mantras, we are engaging our body, speech and mind to transform our mind to develop our Buddha nature. Mantras are chanted repeatedly because transforming the mind takes time. Many of these mantras are chanted in their original Sanskrit, the language of the Buddha. These mantras come from highly realized beings and from the Buddha himself. The mantras here have the incredible power to awaken us to the spiritual path in different ways.
May anyone who sees, reads, remembers or recites these mantras develop the Bodhicitta heart and achieve Enlightenment as soon as possible for the benefit of all sentient beings. May the merit created in publishing this list of mantras in LOL8 blog be dedicated to the long, stable and healthy lives of all gurus, especially...
