Help:Pictures

Upload picutre

On the left hand side is Toolbox and under there Upload file.

Choose the file from your computer you wish to upload and the enter the Category to where this picture will be uploaded.

Enter the category like this [[Category:Tibet pics]] into the Summary field.

You can find the existing category's here Category:Pictures if you want to create new category then simply write the new category name and later edit the category page you created and enter [[Category:Pictures]]

Inserting Picture to Article

To insert picture to article copy the file name from the Category:Pictures one of the subcategories where you find lot of pictures.

Example the file name is Mongolia039.jpg

Then add (shortcut for this is under every edit page [[File:|thumb|250px|right|CaptionTextHere]]

if you paste the file name and highlight it and then click the button for that shortcut then it will place the file name to right place automatically.

You can change the size by increasing or decreasing the 250px section.
