A big thanks to the Norman Cultural Connection for the sponsorship of the Manjushri Sand Mandala. The Gaden Shartse Cultural Foundation monks began a 10-day sand mandala of Manjushri at Gaden Shartse Thubten Dhargye Ling center in Long Beach, CA. The tour teacher, Geshe Jampa Wangchuk, and tour translator, Ven. Tenzin Lekshey, along with the other monks appearing on this video are part of the Gaden Shartse Cultural Foundation (GSCF). GSCFтАЩs aim is to promote awareness and present Tibetan Buddhist perspective, culture, and rituals. They tour around the U.S. fundraising for their own home monastery, Gaden Shartse Monastery located in Mundgod, south India. During the time of this recording, the monks had to adhere to the mandatory lockdown which affected the country (and most of the world) and stayed at GSTDL since March 2020. This postponed their planned tour and fundraising activities. Their plan is to continue on with their tour once all lockdown is lifted and it is safe to roam around the country. To learn more about GSCF, please go to their website: www.sacredartsoftibettour.org Donations are very graciously accepted and you can send a check to: (Write full name) Gaden Shartse Cultural Foundation, 3500 East 4th Street, Long Beach, CA 90814 or you can visit GSTDLтАЩs COVID-19 donation page: https://www.gstdl.org/projects/donati...
