bhagavat
世尊 (Skt, Pali; Jpn seson )

    One of the ten honorable titles of a Buddha. Bhagavat means possessing fortune, venerable, or holy. It is also applied to the names of deities. In Buddhism, it is used as an epithet for a Buddha and is often translated as "blessed one." In the Chinese versions of Buddhist scriptures, bhagavat is rendered as World-Honored One, indicating one who is revered as the most venerable in the world.
