Kahdam-pa ; A school of Tibetan Bsm. founded in the eleventh century by Atīsa (q.v.). Entirely reorganized and reformed by Tsongkha-pa in the fifteenth century as the Gelug-pa, the ‘Yellow Hat’ school of which the Dalai and Panchen Lamas are members.
